Anybody Have a Map? - 뮤지컬 Dear Evan Hansen

좋아하는 해외 뮤지컬 곡들의 가사를

의미 이해할 겸, 영어 공부할 겸, 노래 번역 연습할 겸, 나름대로 번안해 올려 보려고 한다.

뮤지컬 곡이기 때문에 뜻만 해석하는 것이 아닌 실제로 MR에 맞춰 부를 수 있을 정도로 글자 수를 맞춰 바꾸는 것이 목표이고(정말 어려운 작업이지만...)

그 과정에서 의역이 좀 될 수도 있겠지만 워낙 직역을 좋아하는 성격이라 최대한 원 뜻에 가깝게 가 보려 한다.

 

첫 시작은 한동안 엄청 들었던 <Dear Evan Hansen>.

첫 곡인 Anybody Have a Map? 은 주인공 에반과 급우인 코너, 두 소년의 엄마들이 부르는 노래다.

사회불안장애가 있어 친구들과 어울리지 못하는 에반과 비행청소년인(노래에 나오지만 새학기 첫날 아침부터 마약을 하는...-_-) 코너, 각각의 문제아 아들들에게 어떻게 다가가고 바로잡아줄 수 있을지 고민하고 힘들어하는 내용.

(대사) 시내는 벌써 막히네

And watch it all crash and burn

커피나 한잔 더 하면서
사고 현장을 봐봐 

ZOE (spoken)
(대사) Connor finished the milk!
오빠가 우유 다 먹었어!

CYNTHIA
